Community hero is someone who performs selfless acts of kindness or works to uplift the lives of their peers. Whether they volunteer to help Little Leaguers(r) in your local community, or fight for the environment and sustainable practices worldwide, their work is invaluable to those around them. Often, these heroes are unnamed and overlooked by the wider public, but we want to recognize them for their impact on our communities.
For example, a community hero may have made it their mission to help others with disabilities by running a wheelchair recycling program in their city. Another might run a food bank in their neighborhood, and still another is working to build tiny homes for homeless people as a practical solution to the issue. Then there are the professionals who work in healthcare, education, law enforcement and fire and rescue – they’re a vital part of their community’s well-being. These professionals deserve recognition and support, too.
